Wet cleaning is best left to the professionals. Proper shampooing
or wet cleaning a carpet will help keep your carpet looking good
but if carried out incorrectly can seriously damage your carpet.
We recommend the services of James Hoyles or Servicemaster.
Stain Resistant Treatments
• Several carpets now contain a stain resistant treatment.
• The most recognized household name is Scotchguard? however
there are a number now on the market place that fulfill the same
task and offer similar performance.
• All the treatments do not keep your carpet stain proof,
but help you to keep your carpet stain free by allowing you additional
time to deal with spills.
• Treatments should be re-applied periodically, particularly
after 3 wet cleans.
• For total peace of mind you can purchase a stain resistant
treatment backed by insurance. We use a product known as Guardsman
Protection. Please ask for further details if required.
